Ingredients
1 store bought or freshly baked croissant roll
1 tbsp. Italian dressing
1 to 2 green leaf lettuce leaves
1 package of brie cheese
rind removed and sliced
6 to 8 Italian dry salame slices
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
This salame and cheese croissant sandwich is an easy way to add some European flair to an otherwise boring lunch. Light, fluffy and delicious!
Directions
- Slice croissant through the middle leaving the back edge connected. Fold open without breaking and brush top and bottom with Italian dressing.
- From the bottom up layer lettuce Brie cheese Italian dry salame slices and onions.
- For a hot sandwich skip the lettuce and place the assembled sandwich into a 350-degree oven for 5-10 minutes or until the croissant is warmed through and cheese has started to melt.
